The ProPhoto installer plugin does a number of things for you:
- Checks to make sure your server is compatible with P6
- Gives recommendations for improved performance and security
- Looks up your purchase registration info so you don’t have to
- Downloads and installs ProPhoto 6
- Allows you to “test-drive” P6 while keeping another theme active
